Western North Carolina Vacation
I live in Western North Carolina and there are MANY great day trip opportunities in this wonderful vacation area. This is a mountainous region. Asheville is more or less in the center of what’s considered Western North Carolina. Our area has a rich cultural and historical heritage that I hope you’ll learn more about while you’re here. The following pages will detail some of the fantastic vacation destinations that exist in this paradise that is Western North Carolina!
Many people plan on staying in the Asheville area and then taking advantage of “day trips” out from that central point to the other sites of interest in our mountains.
